You are a client of Χ Architecture Corporation (CHIARC) and need instructions on how to use our Keyhole Markup Language (KML) database?
If this is the first time you are accessing your data, save time, contact us and get a Live Introduction to CHIARC 2008 data in Google Earth (takes ⁓ 2 hours).
If you are familiar with Google Earth in designing and just want to know what information is included in your release of CHIARC KML data, open the ['Projects'] folder and select the appropriate project. If you only see ['PROJECT–Chengdu'], but expect to see your project and the data associated with it, reload your personal CHIARC KML file that you received from Χ Architecture Corporation (Google Earth KML Help). If you see the ['Projects'] folder, but can't open it, you may have no network connection or CHIARC has restricted your access. Contact kml.help@googlemail.com, if you think this is a permanent error.
If you want to know in detail what's inside CHIARC public data for 2008, see this TOC:

Above is the menu when you open CHIARC 2008 for the first time. Doubleclick any item ⁄ folder.

Above is the initial view with all folders open. You can see CHIARC divisions, universities related to CHIARC, tours to and around CHIARC Shanghai and the infrastructure data included. ['Network(IP)'] is disabled by default and adds a green network that displays IP network security information when activated. ['Partner'] includes links to CHIARC partners related to your project.

If you look even deeper into CHIARC 2008 data, you will find how to get to us using public transport and can turn on ⁄ off 3D buildings or CHIARC network information.

Some folders can't be expanded by default when there is no need to see their contents in detail. To see the content of those folders, change folder status to allow them to be expanded manually.
In this example, what you see is public CHIARC data for 2008. As our client, please find daily updated information about current projects in each corresponding folder. Contact us for further questions.
CHIARC.COM takes data security seriously: to keep your project data secure, be sure not to share information on how to access our database with others. Although CHIARC.COM will be aware of any unauthorized access, sensitive information may be used by others unless you keep your information about access to our database secure. Our clients with assigned Culpeper hosting should contact us at cullpepp@googlemail.com.
If you are new to Google Earth click ['你好! Introduction'] to display current information from CHIARC (updated every 24 hours). When you want to take a look at the public data, start by double clicking ['PROJECT–Chengdu'], activate ['2007–2017'], and use the transparency slider
for a time lapse of a simple landart project overlay from 2007–2017. Your flight from Frankfurt, Germany ['FRA–PVG'] takes 15 hours in real-time. You can save one hour by taking a taxi from the airport. Data traffic from chiarc.com at San Francisco, California ['SFO–PPX'] to China normally takes 35 milliseconds. Select the appropriate tour and click ‣ PLAY
Use the STOP button to interrupt the flight. All CHIARC place markers (pushpins ⁄ folders) except ['你好! Introduction'] are activated by double clicking.
We strongly suggest disabling Google Earth's ['Primary Database'] except ['Terrain'] and ['3D Buildings'] and use a big screen to best receive CHIARC data. Tour– and Fly–To Speed in Google Earth need to be adjusted carefully.
To fade in ⁄ out CHIARC data, use the transparency slider. To disable CHIARC layers, remove the checkmark. To delete ['CHIARC 2008'], press the DEL button (←).
